This year SWAPEC24 is all about the future of sustainable aviation. Are we able to make the aviation industry more sustainable? In what ways can we improve the industry to reduce emissions? All questions that are now more important than ever. The Dutch government wants to reduce all carbon dioxide emissions to zero by 2070. That seems like an impossible job, but it’s one that awaits our future aviation engineers.
SWAPEC Future of Flight, Runway to Sustainable Aviation will discuss the complicated problems, difficult encounters and challenges that the industry has to face to make this goal reality.
This day will be organized by students from V.S.V. Sipke Wynia the study association at University of Applied Sciences Inholland Delft. SWAPEC aims to be informing and inspiring for students, to broaden their interest and realize their roll in this matter as a future engineer. The day will be full of interesting speakers, as well as a panel discussion and a lot of network opportunities where students can find their way into the aviation industry.
